- I am experiencing problems (crashing, can't post to Facebook, won't save, etc.)
Sorry to hear it! The following steps are known to resolve almost all issues.
- 1. Delete the application from your phone entirely.
- 2. Re-download the application from the app store. You will not be charged again (even though the prompt is to "buy" the app).
- 3. Restart your phone.
- 4. Turn off wifi before starting your workout. Wifi is known to decrease the accuracy of your GPS and also cause network data transfer conflicts.
If you are still experiencing a problem establishing a GPS signal, navigate to the Settings > General > Reset screen and select the Reset Location Warnings option.
Please try all of these tips before contacting support.
Our Premium iMapMy+ apps include a few extras:

- 3. Restart your phone.
- 4. Still having problems with GPS? See steps 1-3 here
NOTE: GPS requires a clear view of the sky. It may not work well on very cloudy days or in thick trees. Further, it doesn't work well indoors (ie indoor track) or in urban canyons like Manhattan in New York. We apply filters and proprietary algorithms to make it as good as possible, but accuracy and the ability to get a fix may suffer in these conditions.

Enable the app’s screen lock feature (the Padlock icon on the upper left of the Record screen) will also extend your battery life.
Note: the iMapMy+ apps include iPod functionality and Voice Feedback options that can further shorten battery life. If you plan to use either of those two features regularly then consider purchasing one of the many iPhone battery extenders available for sale online or at the MapMyMyFitness store at http://www.mapmyfitness.com/shop or your local Apple store.
